8. How our day continued?

Zigzagging in the heat, between the next beer and a serving of seafood rice, we found ourselves at Dusit Zoo. Wow, we found out right away that the animals live like in 5-star hotels. Green, tidy, organized, cozy. Making you want to be transformed into one of them for a few hours and experience the whole thing. The variety of animal breeds didn't surprise us, what surprised us was the fact that every single one of them looked happy and somehow smiling. We walked around, and paid attention to the soft drinks, giving ourselves pause with our many beers, because we were about to see in daylight the view from the Hotel Le Bois, from its 64th floor. Film buffs will remember that part of the cult film “The Hangover” was filmed there. It strokes 5 pm and just before getting dark we were on those same stairs on the same floor. The view was breathtaking as if Bangkok was in our laps and we were Deities. All tourists there are Deities, especially when they spend a few thousand baht (Thailand's local currency) on alcohol. We enjoyed the view, drank the most expensive beer of our lives, about 10 euros for 400 grams and we came to the conclusion, that we would come back here another day to stay longer and soak up the nighttime party feeling on the 64th floor.
