As a matter of fact, we had a lot of ideas and logistics printed out to execute them, but each morning we
decided according to our mood what direction to take, not with a total clear plan that we would
necessarily follow. We're otherwise the type of tourists who don't waste any time at all and get a good
night's sleep, but get up early and don't get home until late in the evening, even at night. We want to get
the most out of the place we visit, to blend in with its usual way of life, to feel like locals, showing visible
respect for their customs, traditions and habits, without in any way showing any insolence. Since we
admittedly didn't trust street food, we had to sit in restaurants of different atmosphere and character,
each with its own charm and delicious local cuisine. We often dined at Bangkok Mall, which had an area
on its top floor with a variety of Asian cuisine (Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino and even
Greek in the mix). Each kitchen had a separate area and dishes on display, which made it very easy and
gave us the great opportunity to eat Asian delicacies from different countries and different recipes. As
transport, our idea to blend in with the locals came to fruition the quickest, as we were remembered at
some stops and let through without special checks, and we used the Bangkok Sky Train around the clock.
It was the way to see more in the short time we had allotted for the capital. We also walked a lot.
