We went somewhat unprepared. In shorts. This turned out to be a big mistake. We were told that it was not polite to the canons of the Holy Place and we were sent back to put on pants. What to do, we went back to the hotel and adjusted our attire and found ourselves back at the Palace in the quickest way possible. Whatever I say about it will be unjust. You would hardly ever feel anywhere else like the main character in a real fairy tale. Golden palaces and domes, sculpted elements, walls painted with history and gold threads. A huge space with it all. Indescribable beauty and grace. The energy of the place is remarkable and seems to embody all the magnetism of Thailand in a few acres of land. After utilizing a few hours in touring, taking pictures and reading signs, we went back to the hotel to relax and change clothes once again. We got ready quickly and the day continued with a shopping marathon. We decided to take a tour of some of the local malls, visiting “Bangkok Mall”, “Siam Paragon” and “Terminal 21”. We stumbled upon shops selling all sorts of things you can't even imagine. Invariably, evening came.
