34. The day of our travel from Bangkok to Samui was also worth sharing.

The last hours of our stay in Bangkok we did not have much time for long walks. We wasted quite a lot of time in looking for gifts in the area around the hotel, then we went back to leave them in our suite and to get ready with the suitcases for the domestic flight; then we saw a sign on the reception “Fruit Zone”. It just grabbed our attention and we asked where it was and why hadn’t we noticed over so many days? The hotel employee looked at us and smiled and she said that we can find it a couple of floors above. We had 2 and a half hours more and without any hesitation we headed to that floor. You will say: as if we hadn’t eaten any fruits so far, so we were in strenuous efforts to eat some again. To be honest, we thought the same thing, but we were genuinely curious to see it. According to the directions we got, we were several floors up the first reception and what did we see? We were welcomed by a sign reading that all were All Inclusive against 600 baht, about 15 euros per person. What was actually happening in that “Fruit Zone”? Not only the fruit varieties range was wide. The zone was donned with fresh drinks in every possible combination depending on your choice, the same were in the form of ice-cream, as well as dried fruits. Four in one. Do not ask what we were doing in the short time left in the hotel. Our stomachs have been still full. Such a fruit marathon in all types of varieties - I am not sure if it is possible to describe it in words, more to try to retell it in every detail. I found a room deliberately for that event, too, because we were participants in Thailand’s gardens of paradise where those with bigger stomach survived.
